EXCELLENT Based on 163 reviews Posted on Tripadvisor Coastal5432654941007/08/2026Verified Wonderful site Brilliant location and a great welcome, we were very lucky with a beautiful pitch under the trees, so quiet and peaceful. Showers, kitchen and tv room very clean. Definitely will be back.Posted on Tripadvisor alanI2653RG06/07/2026Verified Best camp site ever in stunning country mountain setting. Just returned from spending 4 nights in our Motor Home in the best camp ground we have been to. An abundance of grass / hard standing fully serviced pitches gives ample choice for vans. motor homes and tents. Enough grass next to our hard stand to erect full awning. Dogs welcomed and there were quite a few. Showers, Toilets, Kitchen Laundry, TV room, Pool / Table Tennis room all available. Spotlessly maintained. Great walks and cycling in area and stunning country / hills / mountain outlook all around. Filled up on week-end but spots available during the week.Posted on Tripadvisor Erin B06/07/2026Verified Highly recommend We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this campsite and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making check-in quick and easy. The campsite itself was spotless, with excellent facilities that were cleaned regularly and maintained to a very high standard. Our pitch was spacious and well kept, with plenty of room to relax. The atmosphere was peaceful, family-friendly, and felt very safe. The location was perfect, with beautiful scenery and plenty to see and do nearby. It was the ideal place to unwind while still being close to beautiful walks, and attractions. You can really tell that a lot of care and attention goes into running this campsite. Everything was well organised, and the little touches made our stay even more enjoyable. We left already planning our next visit. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so memorable—we’ll definitely be back!Posted on Tripadvisor Naomi02/07/2026Verified Best Campsite in Ireland! First time and hopefully not last time to visit this wonderful camp site. We were travelling from Scotland and wanted to dip our toes back into camping with our tent. We couldn't have asked for a better site. Lovely big pitches, fresh tap water and electrics right at your pitch. Icing on the cake, faultless spotless cleaning and toilet facilities! Even a fridge, microwave and kettle available to use if you were stuck. The view from the site is of the Galtee Mountains and on a clear day, its majestic. Well run, beautifully maintained campsite. 10/10!!!Posted on Tripadvisor Deirdre O22/08/2025Verified Lovely campsite We had a lovely night here, very quiet secluded site with plenty of green areas for kids to run about. The pool table was a big hit as there wasn’t a lot of kids onsite to play with . The facilities were absolutely spotless and FREE Showers was a big bonus. Lovely owner definitely recommend a visitPosted on Tripadvisor Trilobitebean19/08/2025Verified Countryside Relaxation Very friendly reception. An excellently site surrounded by magnificent scenery. Good cycling and walking nearby. The facilities are well kept, clean and modern, ideally could do with a few more showers and/or washing cubicles. Overall well worth a visit for the countryside and relaxation. Observation: Nearby Tipperary is ‘over the hill’ - not much there for tourists. Stick with the excellent countryside instead.Posted on Tripadvisor Neil C23/07/2025Verified The best introduction to Ireland you could ask for. From the grand entrance to the unsurpassed views of the Galtees, this site was a wonderful introduction to Ireland. The friendly welcome from George soon had us relaxing in reception before taking us to pitch 19, picked for us by him to give us the best view of the hills during our seven nights stay. Generously sized pitch, with an open aspect, own fresh water and waste point , and a clean and fresh looking facilities block just a short stroll behind us. A great base to explore the glen by bike, walk the forests and the lower slopes of the Galtee Mountains, pop over to Tipperary, or along to Cahir and Cashel. We could not have asked for a better introduction. Could easily come back and do it all again.Posted on Tripadvisor Steven M21/07/2025Verified Beautiful views of the hills Upon arrival we were greeted by by a lovely couple who greeted us as we arrived. The site is well laid out and immaculate. The showers were spotless and endless hot water . There is a games room for the kids. Ideally situated for touring . The small down side was I didn’t realise the small lane for 5 miles of the main rd But it was quiet and okay. Real gem for touring around that areaPosted on Tripadvisor Lisa Dooley15/07/2025Verified Best caravan and camping site in Ireland 💚 Just can’t praise this place enough. I was lucky enough to get a pitch for the hot weekend just gone and I was delighted. Every time I get there I remember why I keep coming back. George and Rosaline are so pleasant and helpful and run an impeccable caravan park. We were told it would be busy and were late arriving on Friday evening, so expected tents to be a bit overcrowded. It was the total opposite. There are designated large sites assigned to each tent. It is so impressive and makes camping in a tent a more pleasant experience. Kitchen and toilet/ shower blocks are kept spotless. Breathtaking scenery wraps the whole site in a beautiful 360 bubble. Thank you George and Rosaline for another lovely break.
